Proofstay

Terms of use

Last updated 24 October 2026

These terms apply together with Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement. If they conflict, Apple's agreement applies.

What Proofstay is

Proofstay counts the days you spend in places and keeps a proofed, tamper-evident record you can export. It is a record-keeping tool. It is not tax, legal or immigration advice, and it does not decide your residency. Rules have parts a day count can't capture; check your situation with a qualified adviser.

Accuracy

Automatic location is approximate (about 1 km), photos can carry wrong dates or places, and days near borders can be uncertain. The app marks days it is unsure about. You are responsible for checking your days and for what you submit to any authority.
